 After searching wide and far for an MS Excel-based budget spreadsheet, I finally gave up and decided to create my own. FAMILY FINANCIAL ORGANIZER was designed to accurately maintain the family budget in an easy-to-use spreadsheet format. This gives the user the flexibility to make changes or customize graphs and charts to his/her liking. I've used software-based budgets before, but I haven't found any with the flexibility I need. Plus, this one is free! So, give it a try and see how you like it. It's a work-in-progress, so please be patient while I continue to update and add features to the spreadsheet.
FAMILY FINANCIAL ORGANIZER uses a color-coded system to help you keep track of your finances. Enter in your own numbers in the light yellow cells. These numbers will be used to track your monthly budget and your actual expenses. Let the computer calculate it's own numbers in the light blue cells. These numbers will be used to track your remaining balance.
This version of FAMILY FINANCIAL ORGANIZER is our first edition. And while it has a lot of work remaining, I wanted to go ahead and release it as it currently is. Maybe, someone will even help me with it so the next version will come out sooner! I am already working on several more tabs including a mortgage predictor, debt snowball, IRA progress chart, bill organizer, and more. However, these tabs are still being developed.
